Kenya eTA for Pakistanis

Kenya no longer issues visas to most visitors. Instead, every traveller, including Pakistani passport holders, needs an Electronic Travel Authorisation (eTA) approved before departure.

Documents checklist

  • Passport scan (photo page)
  • Recent passport-style photo or selfie
  • Return or onward flight booking
  • Hotel booking or invitation letter
  • Email address and phone number

Who can apply

  • A valid passport
  • Your flight itinerary
  • A hotel booking, or an invitation letter if staying with family
  • A debit or credit card to pay online

Watch out for

  • Apply at least 3 days before you fly. The official site suggests two weeks ahead.
  • The eTA is single entry: you need a new one for each trip, except short trips to neighbouring East African countries.
  • Payment is by card only: cash and cheques are not accepted.
