In October 2026, a booking site showed return fares from Pakistan to China from about Rs 150,000 to 200,000: for example Karachi to Beijing with one stop from about Rs 150,000, and Lahore or Islamabad to Guangzhou non-stop on China Southern from about Rs 193,000. The same site listed non-stop PIA flights from Islamabad to Beijing. Check fares for your dates.

- Eat where locals eat. A local meal costs about a third of a mid-range restaurant.
- Get your police certificate early, so you are not paying for rushed apostilles or rebooking.
